Random Posting!

If you've watched iCarly, you probably know what I'm refering to. If you haven't watched iCarly? Well, then you missed the joke. In iCarly, "Random Dancing" comes up alot. So.... Random Posting! LO...L? It's not that funny, is it. Oh well.
Movie. Movie. Movie. Movie.
If you watch Nick, you probably know about A Fairly Odd Movie Grow up, Timmy Turner! Well, it ROCKS. Hilarious. Made me LAUGH. Of course, I don't wanna spoil it for you. So, no, I won't tell you ANYTHING (well, almost). Just one thing: that it's not a cartoon. It's actors! See it now on........
I sound like an ad. Well, I saw it on Nick. Channel... um.... 64? 65? 63? I'm not sure... plus, would that even apply to people in different areas?
Hey! Hey, You! Hey, You, Hey! Hey, You, Hey, You!
Guess I got a bit carried away there. Let's try that again.
Hey! Hey, You! Hey, You, Hey!
Still a bit much.
Hey! Hey, You!
Umm.....
Hey, You!
That works!
Anyways, I have a question. What is your first langauge? The one you first learned. Mine was Babytalk! Just kidding. It was English. I <3 anime, so I'm trying to learn Japanese.... it's not working. :'(
Anyhow, I gotta thank you for reading this blog. What da ya think of it? Tell in a comment, please!!!
One more thing.
If you had to get bitten by something, would it be....
  • A Deer-Fly
  • A mosquito
Well? Well? The reason I'm asking is because mosquitos have been PESTERING me SO much lately. Even when I have a no-mosquito jacket. I, at the moment, have counted a total of 4 bites. I haven't been bitten by a deerfly yet. So? So? What's your answer?
New Blogger Can Be Gone
I just figured out that the New Blogger is kinda optional. I bet that's old to, huh.

The Wonders of TV

Guess what?! Usually I'm not a big TV watcher- but I've been kinda bored lately and just discovered- TV rocks!! Disney, Discovery, Animal Planet, nickelodeon, and Cartoon Network!! Disney is what I usually end up watching- Discovery and Animal Planet are interesting, but only certain shows are really interesting- because it is the one that usually has good shows on. Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network..... well..... only a very select few shows are good..... and the rest STINK, in my opinion. What do you think? Oh! Oh! I have an idea! How 'bout you comment your favorite TV channel and the reason why you like it. That would be super COOL! I just realized- I haven't got of topic yet! Let's do that now :D
New Blogger
This might be OLD news, but this is new to me. Blogger looks TOTALLY different. It's.... AMAZING! This is my first post with the new blogger..... I do wonder how it'll work out, configuring all the labels and stuff in this new blogger. Hey! Another idea! 1-10, how much to you like the new blogger compared to the previous blogger??? Include that in your comment, too!
Where is the world is Horsenkat?
Guess what! Guess what! I am no longer where I usually am. Because it's kinda a vacationy time, I've been BUSY! With fun stuff, of course. So! So! I'm gonna give you a few hints and I want you to figure out the state I'm in. Or something like it.  BUT. I won't give them out straight foward. I'll drop hints as I go! Won't that be COOL??? If you figure out some hints that I dropped, you might want to comment- I suggest you people work toghether on this! I plan to make it HARD. K?
Last Bits
Hey! In your comment, I have one last thing I want you to do. (or maybe two or three or four.... I really have no idea. Planning for this post=0) In your comment, I want you to post where you found out about this blog. If you don't include it, that's understandable.
Oka- I just realized something. Look. At. The. Size. Of. This. Post. It's gigantic! Mammoth (ok maybe I'm exaggerating a bit)! Any other word for amazingly big! So. It. Ends. Now.  See ya! :D
Testing, Testing
I'm going to try an HTML script. Did it work? Did it work?

I LOVE ANIME

I love anime. Just thought you might want to know. Wanna see all my anime photos that I've collected? I forgot where they're from, so don't expect to know which anime they're from. Just see the page My Anime Collection. It's full of photos of anime! :D Also, if you know any anime that you think I'd like, please tell me! At the moment I'm rewatching lots of shows. :) I gave a sample of the anime that I've collected in this post. I love cat/dog/fox girls!! They're.... just..... so..... CUTE! :D :D :D
I've made a goal. I'm going to include at least 1 photo in every post tha I make from now on. I hope. I'm not making any promises...... plus I have a limited supply of photos. Some of the photos won't even match! :D
Do you like cat/dog/wolf/fox/ect. girls???

PIP

Recently, I signed up for 2 PIP (positive impact projects). Tilth and House of Hope were their names. Tilth is a gardening thing. You get to weed and then fence sections of garden! It was really fun. The garden was a learning garden. REALLY FUN. And after, there was the farmers market, which was SO cool. We bought 1? 2? books.
     House of Hope is a place for women and kids who's dads or husbands abused them, so they ran away. It is a SECRET organization- so the men don't pursue. I don't think that happens often, though. So, we were giving a list of things to do. Here is what I did:

  1. Rerouting a spring, as it was running into the meadow. HARD WORK! And it was raining. I don't think we made much progress, either. We pretty much were digging holes to reroute it. Not permanent, not working.
  2. Carrying toilet paper to the main building. In rain. Simple
  3. This task wasn't actually on the list. It was something that came up. There's a little girl at House of Hope. She was crying. I was told to be a mother's helper and read to the kid! I read to the kid, and she quited down for a little while........ then she started crying again. The person taking care of her at the moment (not her mother, the mother was working) turned on the TV. We walked out
And that's it! (it's in the order I did the things)
Seattle Tilth was on May 14
House of Hope was on May 15

I MADE THE TURTLE SAY HI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just made the turtle write 'Hi'! You are probably thinking, 'that's lame. Boring' or something along those lines. Well, it's HARD! Here, I'll show you the script for it.:

import turtle
t=turtle.Pen()
t.up()
t.left(180)
t.forward(600)
t.left(180)
t.forward(60)
t.left(90)
t.down()
t.forward(360)
t.left(180)
t.forward(180)
t.left(90)
t.forward(200)
t.left(90)
t.forward(180)
t.left(180)
t.forward(360)
t.up()
t.left(90)
t.forward(50)
t.down()
t.left(90)
t.forward(200)
t.up()
t.forward(100)
t.down()
t.forward(7)
t.up()
t.right(90)
t.forward(9999)

Ya. That's one big script for something as simple as that. It was so hard to figure out! I worked hard and am so happy! :D :D :D :D!
I did it on Python! It's in  computer language!
:D :D :D :D I'm so so so so so happy that I did it this is a really big milestone in the path of learning how to program (I think)! :D :D :D :D
NOTE: I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO DOWNLOAD FILES. IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE TURTLE DO IT'S THING, GO TO http://www.python.org/download/ AND CLICK ON THE FIRST DOWNLOADABLE LINK AND INSTALL PYTHON, THEN COPY DOWN THE SCRIPT INTO THE COMMAND LINE AND SEE THE TURTLE DO IT'S THING! ALSO DO THIS IF YOU FEEL LIKE DOING PYTHON. IF YOU STILL WANT TO VIEW IT BUT DON'T WANT TO DOWNLOAD PYTHON, WAIT UNTIL I DOWNLOAD THE MOVIE OF IT IN ACTION.

Help the Seattle Humane Society Win $100,000 in the ASPCA $100k challenge!

Seattle Humane

Help the Seattle Humane Society Win $100,000
in the ASPCA $100k Challenge!

Support your favorite local shelter and help the Seattle Humane Society win $100,000 through the ASPCA $100k Challenge! The first leg of the contest ends April 15 and you can vote every day. On April 15, the animal shelters with the most votes will move on to the second part of the challenge and closer to the $100k grand prize.

VOTE NOW for the Seattle Humane Society at:
challenge.aspcapro.org/vote-your-shelter

What would we do with $100,000? The Seattle Humane Society vet clinic provides medical care to thousands of animals every year. Our shelter and public spay/neuter surgeries are routinely limited due to recovery cage space - particularly for the larger dogs. Our veterinary staff does an incredible job with the space they have. With $100,000 we could improve our clinic, make more pets adoptable, and perform more low-fee spay/neuter surgeries for pets in our community.

Every vote can make a big difference – so vote today and every day through April 15. Tell your friends and family to vote too! Share it via email, Facebook, Twitter, or your personal blog and website and help the Seattle Humane Society do more for the animals than ever before.

What’s next? If we are a finalist, we move onto the next round where our goal is to save 300 more animals from August to October of 2011, than we saved during the same period in 2010. It’s all about saving more lives- and with the community's help, we can do it!

Pictures included in this:

In order. They were installed on the side. Basically, vote and help the Humane Society! I am a big supporter of donations and helping societies and stuff like that.

Mr. Snakey.

Wanna see Mr.Snakey? Check out the 'Pictures and Videos' Page. Mr. Snakey is, well, a snake! He lost his tongue at a play date. His skin is starting to wear down from constant use, revealing gray. He has two sharp fangs. His eyes are yellow. And he is my FAV snakey! :D!

Possible Other Author!

I just asked someone I know if they wanted to become a blog author with me! If he/she (I'm not telling, I dunno why. Just because :D) joins, then another blog author will be posting, which means MORE posting! YAY! Is it so great! The person I asked already has a blog. It's The World of ej! So check that blog out, and if you like it and that person agrees to be a blog author, you'll probably like this blog even more! :D!! YAY!

Another Page to See

I'm writing a story, as you might have read in the previous post. The story doesn't have a name yet. I'm going to put it as a page. That page is called 'Popular' So check it! It's not complete either. Guess what the first line is. Here is some choices:
A) It's a dark and stormy night
B) So many things make me feel weak.
C) Hello, my name is
D) A girl walks down the dark alleyway.
E) Other

The answer will be reveal in the next post, once a few people answer the poll or comment on this post. The poll is in the sidebar. The page is up, but the story not written in it, so don't waste your time.

Update: The story is now up!!

I can't think of a title right now.

SO sorry for not posting a lot! This post is going to be about a page. That page is called 'Pictures and Videos' it consists only of pictures at the time being, though. Oh, and an an update on what's happening.

  1. I watched episode 1 and 2 of Disgaea (anime)
  2. I finished rewatching Tokyo Mew Mew
  3. I started watching Xenosaga. I'm on episode 10.
  4. I finished and presented my ILP project to the school. More about that later.
  5. Spring Break started! HURRAH! It started today.
  6. I began writing a story
  7. And I will have a playdate with one of my BFFs! TODAY!
Now, on the ILP project. ILP is short for Inquiry Learning Project. Here is the basic steps that I did:
  1. I chose my topic, as did everybody else. I chose Ancient Egypt.
  2. I asked 50 questions I wanted to figure out.
  3. I summed up those 50 questions into 4 focus questions. Focus questions would guide my learning and help me create my trifold poster.
  4. I found 5 books to inform me on my topic
  5. I wrote down what I learned under each focus question, as the place I wrote it down in required.
  6. I waited for the trifold posters to arrive, adding to my research
  7. I typed my notes on each focus question into paragraph from.
  8. I wrote the authors note
  9. I wrote the bibliography
  10. I carefully cut out an A, N, C, I, E, N, T, E, G, Y, P, T in sparkley gold letters.
  11. I glued all of this on
  12. I practiced my vocal presentation
  13. I presented to the whole school!
That's a lot of steps, I know. I had 3 weeks to do this. Its pretty amazing, right? I have the files online and on the web, if you want to see them. Only the bibliography is missing. Just go to https://sites.google.com/site/ilppresentationancientegypt/ to see it!
