PIP

Recently, I signed up for 2 PIP (positive impact projects). Tilth and House of Hope were their names. Tilth is a gardening thing. You get to weed and then fence sections of garden! It was really fun. The garden was a learning garden. REALLY FUN. And after, there was the farmers market, which was SO cool. We bought 1? 2? books.
     House of Hope is a place for women and kids who's dads or husbands abused them, so they ran away. It is a SECRET organization- so the men don't pursue. I don't think that happens often, though. So, we were giving a list of things to do. Here is what I did:

1. Rerouting a spring, as it was running into the meadow. HARD WORK! And it was raining. I don't think we made much progress, either. We pretty much were digging holes to reroute it. Not permanent, not working.
2. Carrying toilet paper to the main building. In rain. Simple
3. This task wasn't actually on the list. It was something that came up. There's a little girl at House of Hope. She was crying. I was told to be a mother's helper and read to the kid! I read to the kid, and she quited down for a little while........ then she started crying again. The person taking care of her at the moment (not her mother, the mother was working) turned on the TV. We walked out
